Dr. Lavelle is urologist working at the VA Palo Alto HCS and as a Clinical Professor (Affiliated) in the urology department at Stanford University. His primary interests are in voiding dysfunction urodynamics and neurourology. My research interests have been many including urothelial permeability and physiology, the effects of superoxide radicals in ischemic gut and enteral dialysis. Current research interest is mainly related to clinical outcomes pertaining to neurogenic bladder within the VA system.
